Initial Design

At Barton, we take your sketches or ideas and start drawing while we meet. Drawing while you talk is the most effective way for you to communicate what you want. In a few meetings, you will have an initial drawing of your design concepts.

This is where we save you a lot of pain and expense. We know what design techniques are cost effective and we know how to keep from arriving at unnecessarily expensive design concepts. We also know, through experience, whether or not the drawings are a clear reflection of your ideas and needs.

Every year the permitting process becomes more challenging. The number of Government Agencies is somewhat overwhelming. We do all of this for you. If you would like to come to some of these meetings you are more than welcome. But were betting you have better things to do.

You’ll think this is the most exciting point in the project but it’s simply where all of the work first turns into physical reality. Site work is the most critical area of construction and where a lot of people make mistakes. Don’t worry, we have done this over 100 times.
